HSA cards registered as a credit card do not automatically restrict the types of products you can purchase with the card. Purchasing ineligible products or services with the card may require you to report them and pay additional taxes. Contact your plan administrator or employer for more information. If you exceed this daily amount, your bank might block your account from any further activity regardless of available funds in the account.
Your bank might require you to request a higher purchase limit to complete the transaction. Contact your bank about payment authorizations and reserved funds. When you place an order using Amazon Pay, we contact your card's issuing bank to confirm that your credit card has a valid number and has not been reported as lost or stolen. I went back to Sainsburys who said that it should be Amazon to sort it as they could do nothing with the gift card. Since then I have spoken with the manager at Sainsburys who again said they could not give me my points back which I used to purchase the gift cards.
Why does my card keep getting declined when I have money
Check your credit limit. Depending on how you have your accounts set up, your credit card issuer or bank may apply an automatic block if you go over your credit or overdraft limit. Confirm with your bank that you authorize the charges for AWS services. The charge descriptor ends in aws. If your card issuer requires the use of CVV, then check with the card issuer to waive the requirement.
