SYS/TEMP server error--sending of password for user did not succeed.
Message reads "sending of password for user my email address did not succeed. Mail server inbound. I also can't send an email. Sometimes I get a message about trying another password, but the password is correct - I can use the usual password to open directly from yahoo. Account is a POP mail server, inbound.
Any reason why Thunderbird refuses to accept my new network password? I know this is not identical - but I'm receiving the same message and nowhere else has anything that's worked It would work intermittently but not it will not work at all. I did not change anything with the configuration of the computer unless windows did an update which I didn't know of. A general rule of thumb for finding the servers for any email service, say foo. The odds are pretty good they one of the search results will get you the info you need just look at the dates if possible.
Get email updates
That data base is separate from the server software and servers itself yahoo still maintains the servers. The att servers inquire the att data base.

I have three Yahoo email accounts. Few days ago, one of them stopped working under TB. Cannot send or receive. At Yahoo's website all the emails are being received and sent properly. That account works fine in my Apple cellphone too.
Just doesn't work in TB. Nothing was touched in Account Settings, though have checked everything servers, etc. Just doesn't work in TB.
